Bruin Learn underwent scheduled enhancement on Friday, July 18, 2025. With this update, when attempting to cross-list a course through the Canvas UI, users will see a detailed message explaining the impact of the action. 

Bruin Learn underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. With this update, instructors can enable the Detect Multiple Sessions setting in New Quizzes to track if students access a quiz from multiple devices or browsers. 

Hypothesis underwent scheduled enhancement on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. With this update, the Hypothesis social annotation tool in Bruin Learn now supports image annotation. Users can create area selections or pins over images to indicate the specific part of a document their annotation references. 

Turnitin and Gradescope underwent scheduled maintenance on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm PTD. During this time, several Turnitin services were unavailable.

Bruin Learn underwent scheduled enhancement on Saturday, July 19, 2025. With this update, when the Use Dyslexia Friendly Font option is enabled in User Settings, the Canvas interface and the Rich Content Editor will display text using the OpenDyslexic font by default. 

Kaltura underwent scheduled enhancement on Friday, June 20, 2025. With this update, the Kaltura V7 Player replaced the old V2 Player, bringing several improvements for a better user experience. 

W.W. Norton will undergo scheduled enhancement in Summer 2025. With this update, the Bruin Learn publisher integration for W.W. Norton will be upgraded from Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) version 1.1 to 1.3.

Ally underwent scheduled enhancement on Friday, June 20, 2025. With this update, an Ally feature that was not initially enabled during the LMS transformation project is now activated. Enabling the Access Instructor Feedback from the Institution Report" feature allows administrators to open the Instructor Feedback panel directly from the Institutional Report.
