Zoom underwent scheduled enhancement on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. With this update, Zoom AI Companion and Meeting Summary features are now integrated within the Zoom tool in Bruin Learn, enabling automated summaries and AI-generated insights for class sessions. Faculty and TAs can use Meeting Summary to quickly review key discussion points from a Zoom meeting and decide whether to share the summary with students. Meeting Summaries function as shared notes from the meeting and can be reviewed and edited before publishing. This gives instructors greater control over what is shared with students while making it easier to provide a helpful recap after each Zoom session.
