Bruin Learn (Canvas) access has been restored. Instructure, the parent company of Canvas, has confirmed that its global cybersecurity incident has been contained and remediated. In coordination with the UC Office of the President, we have determined, based on the latest available information, that Instructure’s system is ready for campus use.

There is currently an outage with Bruin Learn (Canvas). While Canvas has restored initial functionality to the platform, in alignment with UC guidance, UCLA is performing security assurance, configuration, and integrity checks before re-enabling access. 

UCLA Video Reserves, accessed via UCLA Media Reserves in Bruin Learn, experienced an outage that started on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 12:00 pm PT and was resolved on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at 3:13 pm PT.
