Overview

Atomic Search is an integrated LTI application developed by Atomic Jolt that enables comprehensive searching within learning management systems such as Canvas. It delivers full-text search functionality across a wide range of course materials, including pages, files, assignments, quizzes, and announcements.

Primary Benefits

For Instructors and TAs

• Easily find course materials - such as pages, assignments, or modules - across current and past courses, reducing time spent on preparation or content reuse.
• Spot and manage duplicate or outdated resources to keep course content organized and accurate.
• Access unpublished materials in search results, allowing instructors to review drafts before publishing.

Atomic Search is paid for by the University. It is available to instructors and students at no cost.
