If you are an Alumni or Retiree and do not have Google Drive access, but have been notified that you are currently using space and that it will be deleted beginning November 14, 2025, please follow the below steps to access and retrieve your data.
- Check your current storage usage to confirm if you have any data in your UCLA Google Drive account.
- To retrieve any files remaining in your Google Drive account, request temporary access to Google Drive for 2 weeks via the Automated Re-enablement Page.
- Download or transfer all files from your Drive that you wish to save. Visit Tips for Storage Hygiene for instructions.
- Once you have exported the files that you need, delete all files from the Google Drive application until you have zero data remaining within the application.
- Schedule time with an IT professional. Email help@it.ucla.edu to request assistance as needed.
