UCLA: Day 1 Checklist

Welcome to Day 1 of using Zoom Phone at UCLA! This checklist is designed to get you started with Zoom phone and includes links to step-by-step instructions. Feel free to email us your questions at bruinvoice@it.ucla.edu or bvhealth@it.ucla.edu if you are part of UCLA Health.

1. When connecting your device to Wi-Fi, select Eduroam or UCLAHealthSecure and log in using your UCLA logon and password. Please note, UCLA_WEB does not support Zoom Phone as it was only designed for guest users.

2. Sign in to your Zoom account:

  • For UCLA Campus Users: please visit https://ucla.zoom.us and log in with your UCLA Logon ID and Password.
  • For UCLA Health Users: please visit https://uclahs.zoom.us and log in with your UCLA Health credentials.

3. Set up your Zoom Phone default emergency address.

4. Launch your Zoom Desktop Application. If you do not see your new Zoom Phone icon in the app, log out and then log back in to the App.

5. Set up your voicemail and voicemail settings.

6. Review other Zoom articles.

7. (Optional) Download the Zoom mobile app for Android or iOS.

8. If you are a member of a Call Queue or Shared Line Group, review How to Use Your Shared Lines article.

9. Find additional “getting started” support resources on the Zoom Support website (note: these resources are not specific to UCLA and not all features listed may be available).
