Welcome to Day 1 of using Zoom Phone at UCLA! The checklists below are designed to get you started with your Zoom softphone or physical phone and include links to step-by-step instructions.

1. When connecting your device to Wi-Fi, select Eduroam or UCLAHealthSecure and log in using your UCLA logon and password. Please note that UCLA_WEB does not support Zoom Phone and is intended for guest use.
2. Sign in to the UCLA Zoom Web Portal:
- UCLA Campus: Go to https://ucla.zoom.us and sign in using your UCLA Logon ID and Password.
- UCLA Health: Go to https://uclahs.zoom.us and sign in using your UCLA Health credentials.
3. Set up your Zoom Phone default emergency address.
4. Launch your Zoom Workplace desktop application. If you do not see the Zoom Phone icon, log out of the application and then log back in.
5. Set up your voicemail and voicemail settings, if applicable.
6. Review other Zoom Phone articles.
7. (Optional) Download the Zoom mobile app for iOS or Android.
8. If you are a member of a Call Queue or Shared Line Group, review How to Enable or Disable Shared Calls in Zoom Phone.
9. Find additional “getting started” support resources on the Zoom Support website. These resources are not specific to UCLA, and not all features listed may be available.
1. Your default emergency address will initially be set to the address of your physical phone location. If you also use your softphone, please be sure to set up your Zoom Phone default emergency address based on the location where you use Zoom Phone.

If you are an admin for a shared line, see Accessing a Shared Line Voicemail on a Physical Phone.
Note: If you are a member of a shared line and need access to its voicemail, contact your shared line admin for the voicemail PIN.
